Vitamin K taken from the diet is PK, but the bulk of the vitamin K present in the tissue is MK-4. We'll explore vitamin K's metabolism and search for and identify vitamin K side-chain cleaving enzymes in this study. Vitamin K metabolic conversion will be clarified from the study's findings, if the conversion process of MK-4 can be clarified.
