Vitamin D3 deficiency can play a role in the rise, severity, and duration of inflammatory skin disorders. The exact mechanism on how vitamin D3 promotes inflammatory skin diseases still needs to be clarified. In all inflammatory lesions in comparison to the normal skin, we saw reduced expression of LRP2/megalin. In inflammatory skin lesions in comparison to normal skin, our study shows disturbed expression of LRP2/megalin, VDR, ROR, u03b1 and ROR_u03b3 in inflammatory skin lesions.
