Recurrent cervical cancer with PD‐L1 amplification treated with nivolumab: A case enrolled in the BELIEVE trial

Patients with cervical cancer who are receiving immune checkpoint inhibitors are unlikely. During postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy, a 47-year-old woman with stage IIB cervical cancer experienced disease progression. The tumor was microsatellite stable with PDL1 amplification, indicating that nivolumab therapy was administered by enrolling in the BELIEVE trial, according to cancer genomic profiling. The patient already had multiple liver metastases with extensive systemic inflammation at the beginning of nivolumab treatment, as indicated by a high neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio, both of which are non-predicting ICI indicators.

A Prospective Trial of Microneedle Fractional Radiofrequency in the Hand Rejuvenation Treatment

Patients were also screened on the Global Aesthetic Improvement Scale using digital photographs. Patients were followed up at 1, 3, and 6 months after the last radiofrequency therapy was administered. The Global Aesthetic Improvement Scale and Hand Rating Volume Scale had Statistically significant increases. The treated hand displayed a 44% improvement in dorsal skin surface roughness relative to the control group, which was a 44% improvement. Quantitative measures of hand volume revealed a trend toward increased volume for the treated hand, but not statistically significant. We conclude that microneedle fractional radiofrequency is a safe therapeutic option for hand rejuvenation.

A generalized weighted combination test of treatment effect for clinical trials with a sequential parallel comparison design and binary endpoint

Various iterations of the sequential parallel comparison scheme have been suggested to address the issue of a significant placebo effect in some therapeutic fields rather than the use of the traditional gold standard parallel group placebo controlled system. This weighted combination test is a special case of this generalized weighted combination test, based on stage 1 results and the investigation based on stage 1 results and the experiment based on stage 2 results of stage 1 placebo nonresponders reported in the literature, and is only valid for a sample of the study results.

Assessing complier average causal effects from longitudinal trials with multiple endpoints and treatment noncompliance: An application to a study of Arthritis Health Journal

In longitudinal randomized controlled trials on human subjects, treatment incompatibility is common, and can greatly complicate treatment effect evaluation. In the presence of noncompliance, the complier average causal effect informs the intervention effectiveness for the subpopulation's ability who would comply regardless of prescribed therapy and has been identified as patient-oriented healthcare benefits of concern. Multiple research endpoints are often used to assess treatment success in multifaceted studies. Real world RCTs evaluating multifaceted interventions often use multiple study endpoints to determine treatment success. Lastly, we apply the MCACE model to an RCT on Arthritis Health Journal online tool. The MCACE report shows significant and positive intervention effects on two of the six endpoints, as well as estimating CACEs for these endpoints separately fail to determine treatment effect on any endpoint.
