Skin cancer risk among testicular germ‐cell cancer survivors: a systematic review and meta‐analysis

Testicular germcell tumors are the most common disease among young adult men. TGCT participants have an elevated risk of skin cancer, according to previous studies. The aim of this research was to systemically review the literature and evidence regarding skin cancer risk among TGCT survivors compared to the general population. The systematic review of all comparative studies involving more than ten TGCT survivors reporting on skin cancer incidence was carried out. Those who survived were 1. 93 and 1. 81, respectively, for skin cancer and for melanoma among TGCT survivors.
