Space-ROS: A Novel Real-Time Operating System Architecture and Implementation for Space Robot

Robotic control software for robots has become a common staple software for robots. Although the conversion of ROS to embedded real-time operating systems has become a common solution to these problems, this technique is still difficult to implement in space robot systems due to real-time multi-tasking, scalability, and performance specifications. To ensure the lightweight of the device, we offer an operating system architecture space-ROS based on the embedded real-time operating system SpaceOS embedded operating system. This paper outlines the development of this paper. To ensure the system's lightweight, we introduce a portion of ROS instead of overall on RTOS. In addition, we've also built intelligent interactive tools that can help plan and design the action tasks of space robots, greatly increasing developer productivity and interactive experience. We also investigated the Space Rover's capabilities and assessed the space robot's operations.

Floor Space Optimisation and Recommendation System in 2D Space

We are providing an open-source solution for empty space calculation in images in this paper by segmenting the objects out using computer-vision techniques. We have pre-existing 3D floor mapping tools, but there is no end-to-end solution that can be used in a 2D space. Our custom algorithm uses the outcome of semantic segmentation model to determine the empty floor space in an image and divide the area into restricted and non-restricted zones. This paper mainly discusses the balcony garden design suggestion, however, as previously stated, the same approach can be extended to other areas.

Classroom Space Layout for Responding to Occupants’ Health Concerns and Flexible Space Utilization

In particular, space layout in school buildings should maintain a safe distance among people to shield occupants' health while still meeting requirements for space utilization goals to ensure learning experience. In this respect, this paper seeks to develop a space planning framework by using Building Information Modeling, which will simplify the process of determining space layout. Although the space planning approach has helped with optimizing various space types within a building, it has not increased the usability of a single space due to a lack of knowing inter-relationships between multiple constituent elements of a space. This report explores the limitations of elements within a space in order to respond to an emerging problem of flexible space reconfiguration for safeguarding occupants' wellbeing and learning experience. Integrating BIM in the architectural, engineering, and construction industry expands the use of the space planning method to responsive and flexible space management.

Research on the Modeling and Application of Intelligent Factory Facing the Complex Space Optical System

As the most common equipment of space optical remote sensor, the intricate space optical system's dynamic manufacturing process requires adopting an intelligent manufacturing mode for increasing its whole manufacturing productivity and eliminating the challenges of long manufacturing cycle and low quality consistency. A multi-dimension intelligent factory modeling framework for the complicated space optical system was developed to satisfy the requirements, based on the success of enterprise model modeling and intelligent factory modeling method for the optical system. Therefore, it is likely to be widely used in intelligent factory design and installation of space optical system manufacturing fields.

Simulation Design of Space Gravitational Wave Detection Satellite Formation

Gravitational wave detection is one of the most popular science topics in science today. However, due to the geographic location and the limitation of the detection arm length of the ground detection unit, countries around the world have invested in space gravitational wave detection research. This paper aims to develop a ground simulation system for space gravitational wave detection satellite formations, as well as a complete scene display computer for simulation control and scene result display.

Reliable Damage Tracking in Nonlinear Systems via Phase Space Warping: A Case Study

In a hierarchical dynamical framework, phase space warping was suggested to resolve undefined slow-time deterministic processes from observable fast-time system responses. Both types of dynamics with different time scales are expected to be coupled in an HDS by slowly shifting system parameters. PSW was designed as a practical method to process sampled field measurement results, which has a lower dimensionality than the total number of system states, and determines the hidden dynamics by nonlinear time series analysis. PSW has been used in numerous engineering fields since its inception. PSW is trying to determine the root cause of the underlying slow-time dynamics by investigating how the original high-dimensional nonlinear dynamical framework, which is also known as the slow subsystem's, appear. Moreover, there were six variables in the original PSW algorithm, and randomly selecting these parameters takes one almost infinite amount of time to develop a more robust set of parameters P 835 to make the tracking work. The PSW algorithm has a solid theoretical background, but it could turn from a gray box to a black-box data-driven method if one uses it for the first time. The PSW algorithm's operation is illustrated in the following diagram. Simulations with known damage dynamics are conducted to better demonstrate the effectiveness of the PSW algorithm when an optimal parameter setting is used.

Design of Manned On-Orbit Maintenance Interface for Space Station

The space station as both a long-lived vehicle and a complicated system in orbit, it is subjected to a harsh space environment. During the engineering of the equipment maintenance interface on the space station, the long-term information on orbit presence of astronauts provides the necessary assurance for the repair of equipment on the space station, and the equipment maintenance interface on the space station must also be considered.
