Angiography versus FFR guided complete revascularization versus culprit‐only revascularization for patients presenting with STEMI: Network meta‐analysis

This paper was designed to compare the results of various revascularization procedures among patients presenting with STgment elevation myocardial infarction and multivessel coronary artery disease treated as primary percutaneous coronary intervention. In approximately one-out of every patient receiving STEMI, MVD is present in about one-out-of-twenty-thirds. Despite several randomized controlled trials comparing complete revascularization and culprit u2010only revascularization, the most effective PCI treatment for STEMI patients with MVD remains unambiguous. Moreover, it is also unknown if angiography-u2010guided CR or fractional flow reserve u2010guided CR are associated with improved outcomes. Between January 1, 2000 and September 30, 2021, research was found in RCTs comparing CR tactics with COR implementation in patients with STEMI between January 1, 2000 and 2021. Patients with STEMI and MVD undergoing primary PCI have a vascularized CR or FFRu2010guided CR improve outcomes compared to COR.
