Analysis of Radon Measurements in Relation to Daily Seismic Activity Rates in the Vrancea Region, Romania

"The purpose of this study is to investigate the correlation between radon measurements and the daily seismic activity rate in order to develop a model that allows estimation of seismic activity rates using only radon measurements. " The Vrancea zone in Europe is Europe's most active seismic zone, and is located along the eastern edge of the strongly bent Carpathian arc. From the study's long-period perspective, an approximate linear correlation has been established between the radon series and the daily seismic activity rate, providing insight into the seismic behavior in the study area with only the radon data. Lung Cancer Screening With Low-dose Chest Computed Tomography: Experience From Radon-contaminated Regions in Kazakhstan
