Multicentric Evaluation of Best Corrected Visual Acuity of the XEN Implant Versus Classic Trabeculectomy in Open Angle Glaucoma Subjects

In two separate filtering glaucoma surgeries, the XEN implant standalone procedure over a classic trabeculectomy standalone procedure is the goal of this research. Patients with open angle glaucoma will be tested for eligibility, and informed consent will be obtained from those who meet screening requirements and are interested in participating in the study. If the subject is scheduled in group 1 where the XEN implant will be implanted in a single procedure or in group 2 where the trabeculectomy will be performed in a standalone procedure, it will be determined by randomization. In two separate filtering glaucoma surgeries, the XEN Implant standalone procedure versus traditional trabeculectomy standalone procedure is the intended purpose of this research. After 1 week, the primary endpoint is the percentage of patients with the best corrected distance visual acuity > 0. 3. Both groups' secondary goals are the distance and nearest corrected visual acuity measured at postoperative visits and a measure of visual acuity at postoperative visits compared to baseline. At multiple postoperative visits, the proportion of patients with a best corrected distance visual acuity > 0. 3 and > 0. 5 will be determined.

Modified Trabeculectomy With an Extended Subscleral Tunnel Versus Conventional Trabeculectomy for Management of Primary Open Angle Glaucoma (POAG)

-Several variations, combinations, and new methods of subscleral trabeculectomy have been discussed, describing the improvement of the complication profile and the safety of glaucoma filtering surgery. An additional small perpendicular strip of sclera is removed from the AC to 2 mm beyond the edge of the scleral flap, thereby extending the subscleral trabeculectomy, facilitating aqueous passage into the posterior subconditorial space.

How Does the visuALL Field Analyzer (vFA) Compare to Standard Automatic Perimetry (SAP) in Patients With Mild and Moderate Chronic Open Angle Glaucoma (COAG) and Subjects Without Eye Problems?

Standard Automatic Perimetry is the gold standard test for the determination of central and peripheral retinal sensitivity, which is useful in the detection and monitoring optic nerve disorders such as glaucoma. In an attempt to improve the test quality and patient satisfaction, several devices have been released since the introduction of the Octopus Perimeter 3-5 and the Humphrey Field Analyzer, along with the Octopus Perimeter 3-5. This paper aims to determine the repeatability of a novel psychophysical platform that uses a Head Mounted Device with eye tracking capabilities.

Randomized, Multicenter, Observer-Masked Study to Compare Safety/Efficacy of Nebivolol Suspension 0.5% or 1.0%, or Timolol Suspension 0.5% to Timolol Solution 0.5% in Participants With Primary Open Angle Glaucoma or Ocular Hypertension

Both eyes will have OAG or OHT in both eyes that require medicine, and an elevated IOP that can be properly managed on no more than two ocular hypertensive drugs. Participants with OHT on no ocular hypotensive drugs are deemed acceptable. Participants receiving written informed consent will go through an washout period, if required, from previous glaucoma medications after being warned of the research and potential risks. At 8:00 AM and 4:00 p. m. Hg at Visit 3/Baseline u2265 22 and u2264 34 mm Hg, respectively.
