Does tourism increase CO2 emissions and health spending in Mexico? New evidence from nonlinear ARDL approach

Mexico obtains a lot of visitors each year, tourism boosts foreign exchange profits and adds favorably to the economic development. Nonetheless, tourist activities enforce a serious ecological price in terms of CO2 emissions which boost wellness spending. The federal government requires legislation to lower CO2 emissions, besides the use of sustainable energy might help to decrease the CO2 exhausts and health and wellness expenses in culture. This research study does not support to reduce the health and wellness expenditure, instead it recommends optimal usage of the funds allocated to the health field.
