Selenate and sulfate are often present along with chromate in certain commercial wastewaters. Moreover, the design showed that efficient CrO 4 2- elimination together with small SO 4 2- reduction could be realized by means of maintaining appropriate biofilm density and influent liquified oxygen in a single MBfR.
