The inoculum-substrate ratio is an essential parameter for carrying out reproducible biochemical methane prospective test. The impact of ISR on the mesophilic and thermophilic biochemical methane possible examination of 2 biodegradable plastics was reviewed. ISR of 1 on PHB resulted in a restraint of the methane production due to build-up of volatil fats and acidification of the reactors.
