The effects of tetraethoxysilane concentration have also been determined. At a pH value of 3. 2, the films hydrolysis was carried out at a pH value of 3. The film's hydrophobicity was determined by contact angle measurements. On tinplate, the tested films have shown excellent results in terms of corrosion resistance.
