The feasible relationship between dehydroepiandrosterone induced polycystic ovary syndrome and epigenetic modifications leading to the impaired oocyte quality, has not been explored. So, this research intended to provide understanding into the relationship of the damaged oocyte top quality with ECs in a mice DHEA‐induced PCOS version and to even more reveal the impact of metformin treatment. Metformin attenuated the problems generated by DHEA as shown by the stabilized the estrous cycle, the enhanced ovarian morphology, the reduced sex-related hormonal agent and OS levels, and the boosted MMP and AMPKα phosphorylation degrees. In this respect, substantial decline and increase were observed in both the acetylated H4K16 and methylated H3K9 within MII oocytes in the DHEA + Metformin team compared to the DHEA group. Our results reveal that metformin might boost the developing skills of PCOS oocytes using minimizing OS and ECs.
