Although E-Learning systems have grown with technology, in their best case, they are either not well defined or are adopted, in their best case, as only a 3D environment. In this paper, we review some recent studies to find out the unique technologies that should be included by the metaverse framework, and then we explore the metaverse's framework if applied as an E-Learning environment framework.

According to apologists for the metaverses, the Internet will no longer exist in the traditional sense and will take its place in the metaverses as global virtual spaces for communication, education, and leisure will be established by the metaverses soon. The article explores how technology exploits human shortcomings, increasing its reach, and gaining control of society. The depletion of values and morale in the virtual world, as well as the destruction of the individual's identity are two of the key dangers related to the metaverses. Purpose: Facebook changed its name to Meta in October 2021, announcing a new age of social interaction, enabled by the metaverse technology, which seems to be poised to become the future center of mass social media interactions. The results of our review of Facebook's entrepreneurial journey indicate that the communicated strategic refocusing did not correspond to a new BM innovation trend. The authors predict that the BM's key features of the BM will change incrementally, even though Facebook's BM may advance into the innovation phase, as the new changes appear highly futuristic. Originality/value This paper is the first research to look at Facebook's response in rebranding Meta and refocusing its focus on building the metaverse from an entrepreneurship and BM perspective.
