Abstract: Rechargeable batteries, which are used for energy storage, have paved the way for reducing the ferocious burden of the energy crisis and environmental pollution, which are used for renewable energy storage. To answer the ever-growing demand for renewable power for electric cars or grid applications, new electrode materials with high energy and power density, as well as good electrochemical performance for energy conversion and storage have been introduced recently. This paper may provide some insight into the design and usage of MXene-based electrode materials in renewable electrochemical energy storage.
