Low LDH5 and HIF expression were found in the invading tumor front, which resulted in better prognosis. Both HIF1u03b1 and LDH5 indicate cold breast cancer microenvironment and poor prognosis. A rational is given to investigate further whether metabolic manipulations targeting HIF and LDH5 may raise the antitumor immune response in breast cancer.

"Due to the growing demand for biofuel feedstock production, Styrax tonkinensis, a woody oilseed tree species, has received more attention. " However, the effects of several plant growth regulators on its seed development haven't been investigated extensively, however. Here, we used 24-epibrassinolide and methyl jasmonate on the entire tree, and our aim, according to our study, was to investigate their effect on seed growth of S. tonkinensis and seed chemical compositions, especially seed lipid metabolism. The most significant effect on the release of CF and CF in single seed was found in EBL and MJ. In addition, our findings showed that EBL and MJ enhanced SOD and POD performance while decreasing MDA content. We explained that EBL and MJ promoted seed production in S. tonkinensis, changed seed chemical compositions, and contributed to the accumulation of CF and FA.
