To clarify the mechanisms of nitrogen utilization and photosynthetic material production in sorghum under four fertilizer application patterns, soil microbial species, variety, and metabolic pathways were analyzed, with photosynthetic parameters and yield characteristics. Overall, the N0Y model of N-efficient sorghum can result in increased photoynthetic material production and higher yield formation through tightening population processes and metabolic pathways of loamy microorganisms, resulting in reduced chemical N application and more effective green production of sorghum.
