Abstract C10: IT-enabled clinical cognitive support for differential diagnosis improvement, treatment planning and medical mistake mitigation

"Abstract This poster discusses the background, purpose, scope, location, and operation of the Cloud Healthcare Appliance Real-Time solution as a service, developed in u201cthe cloud-u201d and usable by licensed healthcare provider subject matter experts on a secure portal for the purpose of designing, constructing, and deploying automated use cases for medical education and healthcare delivery with minimal cost and complexity. The included software already is production-proven in other industries around the world, so the typical high cost and risk associated with software development projects is avoided. BECAUSE. 25 million patients die annually from medical mistake prevention, diagnosis, and medical mistake mitigation can be rationalized as follows: BECAUSE. 25 million patients die every year as a result of medical error reconstruction; and medical errors can be reduced because of healthcare chaos, which leads to cognitive overload; AND healthcare chaos causes cognitive overload; and healthcare providers' cognitive overload can lead to cognitive overload; and healthcare providers' inadequate medical care can be rationalized as follows: as a service. Although CHART is only a concept at this moment, the company's structure and function have been implemented for the most part by commercial off the shelf cloud-based intelligent business process management suites. Abstract A77: Patterns of medical utilization, finances, health behaviors and comorbidities in older adults reporting negative versus positive net worth after a cancer diagnosis

"Abstract Purpose: Following cancer has increased mortality, suicide has been attributed to increased mortality, but no definitive factors, insurance, medical care, health habits, and comorbidities in cancer patients with a negative net worth have been established," says the author. We looked at the effect of a cancer diagnosis on medical spending and personal finances in adults age-eligible for Medicare insurance in adults Using the Well and Retirement Study, a national longitudinal survey of U. S. households from 1992 to 2012, we investigated the effect of a cancer diagnosis on medical spending and personal finances in adults age-eligible for Medicare insurance. Male cancer patients' debt increased by 22. 1 percent in log household debt; no significant change in household debt for female cancer patients was made. Following a cancer diagnosis, there was a small but statistically significant rise in the risk of financial insolvency and Medicaid enrollment, as a result of a cancer diagnosis; on subpoena, the chance of becoming a NNW increased in women and in the post-2002 period. Both the two groups were similar, but patients with NNW had higher clinical depression and self-reported health scores, as well as elevated rates of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, respiratory disease, arthritis, and mental disorders. Patients with negative net worth who have a negative net worth are numerous socioeconomic status, medical utilization, and comorbidities, as compared to those with higher net worth, which may lead to disparities in survival outcomes.

Diagnosis and Surgical Outcomes of Patients with Anomalous Left Coronary Artery from the Pulmonary Artery: A Single Taiwanese Medical Center Experience

"Background: Anomalous left coronary artery from the pulmonary artery, a very uncommon congenital cardiac abnormality, is associated with a high mortality risk among infants who are not spotted or treated in a timely manner. " In this report, we intend to explore the clinical manifestations, diagnostic methods, surgical techniques, and surgical outcomes in patients with ALCAPA from a single Taiwanese medical center. ALCAPA patients who underwent surgery at our hospital between January 2001 and October 2018 were retrospectively reviewed by us. Left ventricular function and mitral regurgitation improved in four patients, according to three patients. ALCAPA can be clinically diagnosed by noninvasive echocardiography, and using noninvasive echocardiography will show ALCAPA. Both left ventricular systolic function and mitral insufficiency can be improved after the surgical intervention in pediatric patients. Patients with chronic heart disease, including in patients who had the initial surgery outside of infancy, may require repair or replacement of the mitral valve.
