Existing power system monitoring methods must be enhanced or new technologies are required for the efficient monitoring and operation of the power system. With a cost-effective data storage device and protection, PMU-based monitoring is suggested in this paper. With this latest version, the phasor values in the power system at several locations monitoring also potential and required phasor data are only collected and monitored, while total data is only tracked. With direct phasor measurement methods in LabVIEW and adding time stamping to the each phasor value, accurate measurement of power flow is possible.

Experimental field campaigns for gathering wind data, which are vital for academic study and the wind energy industry, are non-trivial due to the complicated machinery and infrastructure that are needed. This paper summarizes the most recent advancements of the WindsPT e-Science platform for planning, executing, and disseminating wind measurement results. Existing e-Science platforms have been developed for more generic domains, preventing them from accurately representing the field's specifics and needs. In addition, we recommend a protocol for moving large amounts of data from the in-site devices to our platform, assuring data replication. During both the phases of this large-field experiment, the WindsPT platform has been used to support the Perseveration of Perpetu003o 2017 research, and it has been a valuable tool. WindsPT, the latest version of WindsPT, is now available, as well as multiple cross-campaign shared features.
