Background and Aims: When using artery graft in the coronary artery bypass graft, competitive flow exists in the native coronary artery, and this is a significant factor in the arterial graft's long-term patency. Conclusions: Competitive flow can have detrimental hemodynamic consequences on artery graft, especially if the stenosis degree is below 50%, so long-term patency of the artery graft will be poor because of the backflow, low WSS, and high OSI, and the effect of OSI is more obvious than WSS.

After permanent or transient ligation of the left anterior descending artery, we investigated the correlation of 18F-FDG-derived left ventricular metabolic volume, defect area, and cardiac function in mice. After permanent and transient LAD ligation, permanent and transient LAD ligation, the QGS software's cardiac function parameters positively correlate with LVMV. This study provides new insight into 18F-FDG-derived LVMV after permanent and transient LAD ligation by longitudinal in 18F-FDG PET imaging, and it emphasizes the correlations of the FDG derived parameter and cardiac function.

Hypothesis: After left anterior descending coronary artery occlusion and global ischemia, similar to a clinical situation of acute myocardial infarction followed by coronary revascularization, we speculated that DZX would reduce myocardial arrest. Results: The DZX group had separated from CPB by 30 min RF, while the CPG group's only 1 and 4 animals had separated at 15 and 30 min, respectively. During reperfusion, however, there were not significantly different DZX-related results, including shorter average time to wean from CPB and higher CO at all time points during reperfusion, but, these weren't significantly different. After 30 minutes of reperfusion, DZX was associated with higher LVEF. DZX reduces myocardial shock and facilitates separation from CPB after LAD occlusion and subsequent global ischemia in a porcine model. In the clinical setting, the introduction of DZX to hyperkalemic cardioplegia has the ability to minimize myocardial arrest.
