PREPARATION AND CHARACTERIZATION OF INDOMETHACIN-LOADED CHITOSAN NANOPARTICLES

The newly prepared Indomethacin chitosan loaded nanoparticles should be able to reduce the frequency of administration and the dose-dependent effects associated with repeated administration of conventional Indomethacin tablets. Out of all of the prepared formulations, F3 with the Indomethacin concentration of 40 mg had the highest entrapment yield of 81. 25 percent when compared to other formulations and the highest rate of release.

Efficiency evaluation of Amlodipine combined with N-acetylcysteine on Indomethacin-induced gastritis in rats

Subcutaneous Indomethacin prepared in 5% sodium bicarbonate administered at a dose rate of 9 mg/kg for two days at 24h intervals was the model of gastritis. Indomethacin injections, N-acetylcysteine, Amlodipine, and N-acetylcysteine, Amlodipine, and Amlodipine were all administered for seven days in a row, beginning 24 h after the first Indomethacin injection. The results and analysis revealed that macroscopic stomach injury ratings caused by Indomethacin administration did not rise by only administration of N-acetylcylcylcysteine alone, but that administration of Amlodipine alone or in combination with N-acetylcysteine demonstrated by increasing the risk by that combination of both N-acetylcylcysteine alone did not significantly reduce, but that overall damage scores caused by administration of N-based Microscopic stomach damage ratings did not significantly reduce by either administration of Amlodipine or N-acetylcylcysteine alone, but they did not decrease dramatically by administering the combination of Amlodipine and N-acetylcysteine. The administration of Amlodipine with N-acetylcysteine showed a significant decrease in the severity of the gastric inflammation caused by Indomethacin, which was shown macroscopically and microscopically.
