Evaluation of podophyllin and Trichloroacetic acid for the treatment of genital warts in Iraqi female patients

Human paillomavirus infections are the most common sexually transmitted viral infections. Objective: To determine the safety of podophyllin, trichloracetic acid, in the treatment of genital warts and their side effects. Subjects and methods: In the Department of Dermatology, medical city, for a duration of 11 months from January 2009 to December 2009, thirty-eight patients with genital warts were randomly chosen, 30 in each group, with 35 percent podophyllin in the tincture of benzoin or 50% TCA.

Sexual function and sexual quality of life in men with genital warts: a cross-sectional study

Both men and women's health can be affected by this virus infection and the occurrence of genital warts. We looked at the sexual integrity and sexual quality of life in males with GWs in this cross-sectional study. SD in men with GWs has a significant effect on their SQOL. Therefore, it is recommended that an assessment of sexual function and SQOL be carried out when men with GWs refer to health care as well as health care.
