GENDER AS AN INTERVENING VARIABLE IN COMPARING EFFECTIVENESS OF TEACHING METHODS ON THE INTEREST OF EARLY CHILDHOOD AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE PUPILS

Abstract: The study looked at gender as an intervening variable in comparing teaching methods on the interest of early childhood agricultural science students. 58 Basic 3 pupils were included in the study, comprising 31 males and 27 females from intact class. One experimental group one was taught with blended learning techniques, while the experimental group II was taught with roleplaying techniques. Female students had higher interest in comparison to male counterparts when taught with blended learning and role play methods, according to the study's findings, gender plays an intervening role in student interests in agricultural science when taught with blended learning and role play techniques.
