In this essay, we explore whether and how sex/gender affects specificity in arithmetic processing using a cognitive neuroscience approach not only to capture current trends in brain and behavior but also to provide exclusive brain bases evidence that is not presentable in behavioral studies alone. We then discuss how the magnetic resonance imaging technique can help us to discover neural mechanisms under sexu2010specific effects of mathematical learning by reviewing structural and functional results.

Marriage equality has shown how the institution of marriage is evolving, but less attention has been paid to how informal organisations around heterosexual marriage ceremonies are affected by a growing demand for gender equality. This paper explores how gender norms change heteronormative societies by applying institutional theory and feminist institutionalism to the context of women's dating partners. Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and gender diverse and queer (LGBTQ) community members' perspectives on palliative care in New South Wales (NSW), Australia

While equitable access to quality health care is prioritized in community health services, little is known about community members' experiences with palliative care. This research sought to determine LGBTQ people's attitudes and preferences in palliative care in NSW. In mid-u20102020, a community survey and follow-up interviews with LGBTQ people in NSW were conducted. The study included LGBTQ people with varying levels of expertise in palliative care. Perpetutive care professionals, including those dedicated to the development and dissemination of inclusive palliative care services, collaborating with families, promoting inclusive and non-u2010discriminatory service delivery, ensuring humanistic approaches to person-centered care, and staff education on and awareness building of LGBTQ needs and problems. The majority of the participants in palliative care reported positive interactions, but we discovered that LGBTQ people need greater access to educated and supportive services. Palliative care information should be inclusive, respectful, and welcoming.

The latest research and students' attempts to investigate the material truth and political salience of sex has prompted complacency about academic rights, which we can't afford. Suissa and Sullivan put forward a convincing argument for the role of academic autonomy in discovering truth within the academy and building democracy outside of it. They lay out a series of practical steps that administrators can take to ensure that universities are places where an expansive and pluralistic intellectual climate prevails.
