Economic Burden and Influencing Factors of Acute Gastroenteritis in China: A Population-Based Face to Face Survey in 2018

"Background": Acute gastroenteritis is a common and widely distributed public health issue worldwide. In a face-to-face household poll in Heilongjiang Province, China,MethodsA multi-stage stratified random sampling technique was employed. The aim of this study was to determine the economic burden of disease and its influencing factors in patients with acute gastroenteritis. Results: The total economic burden of acute gastroenteritis patients in the United States was 63,969. 22 CNY, of which the direct economic burden accounted for 63. 2 percent; the per capita economic burden was 131. 35 CNY per month. According to the average, the average economic burden of patients with acute gastroenteritis was 571. 84 CNY/person. Further research on acute gastroenteritis' economic burden in China is needed to help assess the economic burden of acute gastroenteritis.

Delayed liver toxicity and delayed gastroenteritis: A 5 year retrospective analysis of the cause of death in Mushroom poisoning

"Aims and Intent: To investigate the clinical and biochemical characteristics of patients with mushroom poisoning admitted to a tertiary care hospital. " Materials and Methods: We analyzed the data of patients with mushroom poisoning admitted to a tertiary care center in north-eastern India from January 2015 to December 2020 to investigate their clinical and biochemical characteristics, as well as short-term results.
