Is there a difference between GBS triggered by COVID-19 and those of other origins?

Our prospective review included 29 patients who were diagnosed with GBS from March 2020 to March 2021. Our findings We found ten patients with post-COVID-19 GBS and 19 patients with non-COVID-19 GBS. In post-COVID-19 GBS patients, the median time from the previous event to the symptoms onset was longer in post-COVID-19 than in non-COVID-19 GBS patients. The GDS score at discharge did not differ between two study groups, although it did not differ between two study groups. Conclusions In comparison to non-COVID-19 GBS patients, there were no differences in clinical and electrophysiological characteristics, disease course, and end in post-COVID-19 patients. ".
