Investigating the Effectiveness of Energy Tunnels in Cooling Underground Substations

Energy geo-structures have been gaining traction as part of the search for renewable energy because they can exchange heat between the ground and under- or above-ground spaces, in addition to their primary structural functions. This paper addresses a critical problem facing underground tunnels: effective cooling of underground substations by incorporating heat exchangers into tunnel lining. This system uses the tunnel air and the ground as sustainable heat sinks drains to which the substations' heat is discarded, and examines the effectiveness of the proposed cooling scheme for different configurations of heat exchangers.

Analysis of an Independent Double Boost Interleaved Converter in a Renewable Energy Application

In the context of a photovoltaic process, the operation mode of the proposed power electronics conversion stage has been investigated.
