Synthesis, characterization, and thermoluminescence‐based high‐dose neutron and gamma dosimetry study of Al5BO9: Mn, Li nanophosphor

Mn, Li's dosimetry glow peak at 542 K was missing in undoped Al5BO9, which was not present in undoped Al5BO9, highlighting the importance of Mn dopant. The highest TL response was recorded for the lowest measured dopant concentration, which was attributed to the concentration quenching process. Both thermal neutron and gamma radiations displayed excellent linearity within 5 - 1011 Gy and 30 u20135000 Gy, respectively, according to u00d7 1011 pp and 307 Gy. These studies have shown the promise of Al5BO9: Mn, Li nanophosphor in clinical neutron dosimetry and food irradiation dosimetry applications.
