Reducing the incidence of tPA declination among non-Hispanic Black patients may be a way to fix disparities in stroke care.

On the pragmatic function of utterance-level declination as deployed by speakers with multilingual repertoires

Aim and research questions: The aim of this investigation is to investigate the pragmatic use of utterance-level declination in conversations in French and Norwegian with ten migrants from the Democratic Republic of Congo, whose languages are largely multilingual. We investigated pitch variations of 400 declarative utterances by an automated technique. The investigation revealed that 38 of the utterances had declination. Conclusions/conclusions: We found that declination of utterance is a common pattern, implying that certain utterances are uttered in connection with other sequence utterances. For these speakers, the contour has the same functions in French and Norwegian. The contour is a versatile component of the speakers' repertoires, according to our conclusion. Originality and Implications: This review is a contribution to the comparatively researched field of the prosody-pragmatics interface in speakers with diverse linguistic repertoires.

We have found over 1300 radio sources at 4. 7 GHz frequency, many from other catalogs, mainly from the NVSS catalog at 1. 4 GHz. For all 365 days, we calculated and analyzed the light curves for bright variable sources. From the CATS database to plot compiled radio spectra of the sources, we identified the identified sources. In cross-sections of the Galactic plane, some supernova remnants were discovered.

Parental Vaccine Hesitancy and Declination of Influenza Vaccination Among Hospitalized Children

OBJECTIVES: During hospitalization, parents often refuse the influenza vaccine for their children. METHODS: This cross-sectional research was conducted among English-speaking parents of influenza vaccine-eligible children who were hospitalized between October 2014 and April 2015. During hospitalization, parents declination of the influenza vaccine for their children was the most important result. Adjusting for sociodemographic, visit, and clinical characteristics, Multivariable logistic regression was used to determine the relationship between vaccine hesitancy and influenza vaccine declination. The association between vaccine hesitancy and declination motivation was also investigated. RESULTS: 24% of 199 parents were vaccine resistant, and 53% refused the influenza vaccine for their children during hospitalization. Vaccine hesitancy was present in this small sample of parents of hospitalized children and those with influenza vaccine declination.

Precision of measurements and the biases due to the geomagnetic declination in the Korean observations of the comet C/1723 T1

Abstract positions of the comet C/1723 T1 measured in Korean historical records are evaluated to determine the accuracy of measurements and the drift due to the geomagnetic declination at Seoul. The comet's positions in the Korean manuscripts are similar to that of the modern ephemeris. We can see the misalignment of the polar axis in azimuth as the geomagnetic declination at Seoul in 1723, assuming that the instrument's polar axis was aligned with a magnetic compass. The geomagnetic declination obtained is in accordance with the most recent estimates of the historical geomagnetic fields.
