Complement receptor 3 is a conserved phagocytic receptor. This review looked at the role of C3a and the C3a receptor in MN pathogenesis. The method of administration of MN patients was tested for C3aR expression in kidneys and circulating levels of C3a. After exposure to MN plasma +/-u2212 C3aR blockade, human podocyte damage was determined. On day 0 or after proteinuria, Heymann nephritis was introduced to rats with Heymann nephritis. PLA2R, C3aR, and Wnt3/u03b2 -catenin, reduced expression of synaptopodin and migration function, downregulated Bcl-2, and reduced cell viability were discovered in human podocytes exposed to MN plasma. C3aR overexpression and elevated plasma C3a levels were also reduced. Although PWH live longer, they may also be vulnerable to age-related neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's disease and its precursor, amnestic mild cognitive impairment. An empirical example of facial burn injury illustrates our approach, showing that using the complement as competing hypothesis results gives more support for the hypothesis of interest than using the unconstrained hypothesis as a competing hypothesis.
