The transcription factor ccaat/enhancer binding protein β (C/EBPβ) and miR-27a regulate the expression of porcine Dickkopf2 (DKK2)

In all parities in a synthetic pig population, the C allele that resulted from a spontaneous change in the core promoter has been associated with a higher number born and a greater number born alive. miR-27a overexpression and inhibition experiments as well as mutation studies have shown that miR-27a is a negative regulator of the DKK2 gene in the DKK2 gene. MiR-27a suppressed Chinese hamster ovary cell proliferation by down-regulating DKK2 gene expression, according to RTCA xCELLigence experiments, which demonstrated that miR-27a stymied Chinese hamster ovary cell proliferation by down-regulating DKK2 gene expression.

Sumoylation of CCAAT/enhancer-binding protein α is implicated in hematopoietic stem/progenitor cell development through regulating runx1 in zebrafish

However, sumoylation in hematopoiesis has yet to be fully explored. In SUMO-deficient zebrafish embryos, definitive hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells are depleted. CCAAT/enhancer-binding protein is dependent on the hyposumoylation-induced HSPC abnormalities. Although C/ebpu03b1-dependent transcription is involved in myeloid differentiation, our experiments here show that C/ebpu03b1 sumoylation is crucial for HSPC formation during definitive hematopoiesis.

CCAAT/enhancer-binding protein α is required for hepatic outgrowth via the p53 pathway in zebrafish

However, the specific stages of liver development affected by C/ebpu03b1 loss are uncertain. We show that activation of the cebpa gene by TALENs results in a small liver phenotype using the zebrafish embryo as a model organism. C/ebpu03b1 deficiency promotes increased cell proliferation and subsequent increased cell apoptosis as a result of increased cell apoptosis. The hepatic defect in cebpa mutants can be largely reversed by p53, suggesting that C/ebp01 plays a role in liver growth regulation via the p53 pathway.

CCAAT/enhancer binding protein beta protects muscle satellite cells from apoptosis after injury and in cancer cachexia

Following BaCl 2 and CTX injuries, we investigated the inflammatory reaction in myoblasts and found that the levels of interleukin-1 u03b2, a proinflammatory cytokine, were robustly elevated. We found that C/EBP u03b2 expression in SCs and myoblasts of tumor-bearing cachectic animals increased in C/EBP u03b2 expression as a model for chronic inflammation. The promotion of C/EBP u03b2 expression by IL-1 u03b2 after muscle injury and in cancer cachexia has been shown to promote SC survival, and it is therefore a shield against SCs and myoblasts in the face of inflammation.

CCAAT/Enhancer-Binding Protein α Negatively Regulates IFN-γ Expression in T Cells

Cellular helper cells have been recently identified as a distinct T cell subset essential in germinal center reactions. T cells from Cebpa-deficient CD4+ T cells exhibit enhanced IFN-u03b3 expression in vitro and in vivo. Following immunization with a protein Ag, T cell-specific Cebpa knockout mice, although not defective in Tfh cell generation, have significantly elevated levels of IgG2a/b and IgG3. Our study also shows that C/EBPu03b1 controls IFN-u03b3 expression in T cells, which enables proper class switching by B cells.

Role of CCAAT/Enhancer-Binding Protein Site in Transcription of Human Neutrophil Peptide-1 and -3 Defensin Genes

HNP-1 and HNP-3 promoter transcriptional levels were similar, according to a Luciferase study, and u223c200-bp region identical between promoters was sufficient for transcriptional activity. Using HL-60 nuclear extracts, a gel mobility shift assay demonstrated that C/EBPu03b1 predominantly bound to the C/EBP/c-Myb sites. These results reveal that the difference in the amounts of HNP-1 and HNP-3 peptides in neutrophils is due to posttranscriptional control, as well as that C/EBPu03b1's role in the transcription of HNP genes in immature myeloid cells.

Troxerutin Counteracts Domoic Acid–Induced Memory Deficits in Mice by Inhibiting CCAAT/Enhancer Binding Protein β–Mediated Inflammatory Response and Oxidative Stress

According to C/EBP's response, mediate kainic acidu2013induced excitotoxic brain injury, which was found in the new studies. Protein kinase C u03b6 promotes expression in K-ras expression and then activates the Raf/MEK/ERK1/2 pathway in domoic acid-treated mice's hippocampus, which promotes C/EBP u03b2 expression and promotes inflammatory responses in this paper. By the Iu03b2B's signaling, elevated TNF-u03b1 production impairs mitochondrial function and raises the amounts of reactive oxygen species. Hence, troxerutin has been suggested as a potential candidate for the prevention and therapy of cognitive impairments resulting from excitotoxic brain damage and other brain disorders.
