A new [1,3]thiazolo[3,4] triazol-7-ium-based cationic surfactant was tested as a stabilizer in the synthesis of silver and gold nanoparticles in the [U201d] chemistry. The new heterocyclic surfactant was tested as a stabilizer in an effective synthesis of silver and gold NPs from silver nitrate and tetrachloroauric acid. The PBE0/def2-TZVP model was investigated by Fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance, and density functional theory calculations at the PBE0/def2-TZVP level of theory. Quantum chemical analysis reveals a preferable relationship of metal NP anions with the cationic surfactant.

Silicone surfactant is a form of environmentally friendly surfactants with high surface activity, and it can be used as a substitute for fluorocarbon surfactant. Foam suppression, fire extinguishment, and burn-back results were tested by a self-designed foam suppression unit and foam manufacturing unit of porous glass with recyclable liquid supply. The fire extinguishing effect of three-phase foam was marginally smaller than that of AFFF, according to the tests, but it had a good burn-back performance.
