Modern Aspects of Use of Pirenoxine Eye Drops for the Treatment and Prevention of Cataracts in the Practice of an Ophthalmologist

Low vision and reversible blindness is primarily owing to cataract-clouding of the lens, one of the principal causes of poor vision and reversible blindness is the loss of transparent lens within natural age. Catalinu00ae eye drops are an original drug; they do not contain benzalkonium chloride nor have a specific formulation. The research about Catalinu00ae's positive influence on the processes that are distinct from age-related cataract development such as the ability to slow down the onset of presbyopia, minimizing the incidence and severity of complications after cataract phacoemulsification and vitrectomy is discussed within the paper. While waiting for planned surgical treatment of cataracts, that may be postponed for a variety of reasons, it can be easier to patients by changing the drug's status to OTC, making it more available to patients.

Among elderly adults in rural China, there have been no studies to determine the prevalence of cataract knowledge and its relationship with eye care use. Hence, we reviewed cataract knowledge and investigated eye care use among adults in rural Western China's rural China. Correct knowledge of cataracts was positively correlated with cataract screening and cataract surgery. Elders with higher cataract knowledge were 2. 21 times more likely to have cataract examination and 5. 61 times more likely to have cataract surgery. To increase eye care utilization in rural China, eye care effectiveness in rural China needs education on cataracts and regular eye examinations.
