Abstract Purpose: The objective of this paper is to investigate the long-term rotational stability of AcrySof IQ Toric intraocular lens in cataract patients with myopia. 120 eyes of 78 cataract patients with axial length 24 mm, corneal astigmatism u2265 1. 50 D, and the introduction of AcrySof IQ Toric IOL by the Version navigation device were all collected. According to the AL, they were referred to two groups: group A, 60 eye with high myopia; and group B, 60 eyes with low to moderate myopia.

Children worldwide, congenital cataract is the most common cause of blindness. Patients with posterior subcapsular cataracts in the central visual axis can have a longer-sighted vision and a stimulus deprivation amblyopia. This research aims to investigate the role and mechanism of HTRA1 in human lens epithelial cells' functional regulation and production. Compared to normal controls, HTRA1 was significantly reduced in the lens capsules of children with PSC. The downregulation of HTRA1 in primary HLECs could promote HLEC formation and migration by stimulating the TGF-u03b2/Smad signalling pathway, which in turn can also influence the TGF-u03b1/Smad downstream target genes FN1 and u03b1-SMA. HTRA1 was significantly downregulated in children with PSC, and the downregulation of HTRA1 by TGF-u03b2/Smad signaling pathway, which resulted in PSC development and migration of HLECs.

Purpose: To investigate the visual effects and long-term effects of intraocular lens transplantation in children with bilateral developmental cataracts, along with primary posterior capsulectomy and anterior vitrectomy. Methods: This retrospective review was conducted on the 48 eyes of 24 children who had undergone cataract surgery under general anesthesia in 48 children. Primary posterior capsule capsulectomy, primary in-bag intraocular lens implantation, irrigation-aspiration of lens debris, and anterior vitrectomy were among the primary patients treated during primary posterior capsulectomy. Visual acuity was measured in 6 months after best corrected visual acuity was established, and intraocular pressure, anterior chamber angle, optical disc, and peripheral retina were evaluated. In 33% eyes, the postoperative best corrected visual acuity were 6/6 in 10. 4% eyes, 6/9-6/18 in 63%, and 6/18 in 33% eyes. In 44 eyes, the anterior chamber angle was normal. In the companion eye, the most common cause of diminished vision was amblyopia in the same eye due to delayed surgery. Conclusion: Amblyopia is the most common cause of decreased visual recovery in children after cataract surgery.

The aim of this research was to determine the effects of binahong leaf extract on the amounts of MDA in a goat lens coated with cataract-induced tissue. As many as possible, 40 goat eye lenses were divided into several groups, including group I standard lenses as controls, group III lenses with glucose 55 mM+ binahong leaf extract, group IV lens with glucose 55 mM + binahong leaf extract, and group V lens with glucose 55 mM+ quercetin. The lens group with the addition of binahong extract had greater results transparency than lens groups caused by glucose levels in 55 mM, according to the study's findings.
