Since the electronic interaction of cobalt on surface and titanium in support of the CoO x / TiO 2 system is expected to occur on other first-row transition-metal oxides and work as a water oxidation photocatalyst, it is likely that similar reactions may exist on other first-row transition-metal oxides and work as a water oxidation photocatalyst is expected. In addition, the NiO x / TiO 2 2's operation was much lower than that of CoO x / TiO 2. We investigated the photocatalytic inactivities of photocatalytic inactivity despite of their apparent light absorption ability, but under the conditions where the contribution of light absorption by MO x / TiO 2 to the reaction could be ignored. The CoO x / TiO 2 samples had the highest catalytic activity among the MO x / TiO 2 samples, according to it. The MO x / TiO 2 system's visible light absorption capability but also the intrinsic catalytic capability of MO x for water oxidation is crucial to attaining high photocatalytic capacity, but this study shows that getting high photocatalytic capacity requires more than just the visible light absorption capability but also the intrinsic catalytic capacity of MO x for water oxidation. Using SrTiO 3 that had different particle sizes, an investigation into the relationship between surface CoO x nanoparticles and a support metal oxide semiconductor was conducted. And though the CoO x conversion was carried out under the same conditions, the load depended on the SrTiO 3 support capacity, even though the CoO x conversion was carried out under the same conditions. On a larger SrTiO 3 with aggregation, quickly underwent aggregation, although dispersed CoO x was reported on smaller SrTiO 3 support.
