Epitaxial growth mechanism of heterogeneous catalytic oxidation of Mn(II) on manganite under oxic conditions

Mn oxidation on Mn oxide surface, according to most previous research, but it's unclear how Mn reacts with manganite under oxic conditions. Here, the interactions between manganite and dissolved Mn within pH 5. 0–9. 0 under oxic conditions were systematically investigated. In comparison to manganite's absence, the presence of manganite in the absence of manganite stifled the formation of hausmannite from Mn oxidation by oxygen in air. This research also shows the catalytic oxidation process and mechanism of Mn on a manganite surface, as well as improving the understanding of manganite crystal growth in supergene environments.
