Cartesian coordinate control for teleoperated construction machines

Operators generally had to move various joints of the machine in a coordinated manner that solely relied on their experiences that led to decreased local accuracy and worker effectiveness. Automation of construction machinery can create new opportunities to increase productivity and safety during the building process. In a visual programming environment, we introduce the system configuration with the required hardware extension and the closed-loop inverse kinematic based motion controller. This approach can be widely used in construction industries due to its low cost and generality, resulting in the creation of a mixture of the latest robotics technology with proven machines from construction sites. We present our first prototype system based on a BROKK 170 demolition machine to demonstrate its capabilities but also the inherent limitations of the proposed method.

A JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS’ ERROR: ANALYSIS IN MATHEMATICAL STORY OF CARTESIAN COORDINATES USING POLYA STEPS

Solving a mathematics word problem is an example of problem solving that is relevant to everyday life, but not all students can solve it. The aim of this report is to identify the type of error and the reasons that lead to student's poor performance in solving math word problems, particularly cartesian coordinates, understanding the issue, establishing a strategy, executing a project, and reporting the answer. The process of data analysis in this study was based on data analysis, test findings review, display results, and verification. According to Polya, the three students had difficulty solving a math word problem and, as a result, the three subjects were unable to continue their study at the next level of developing a strategy, executing a strategy, and assessing answer. Students didn't seem to worry about the issue well, so they didn't get a good deal settlement strategy.

Three-Dimensional Printing in Combined Cartesian and Curvilinear Coordinates

Attaching a biomimetic, flexible, u201d soft robot arm to a standard Cartesian three-axis 3D printing carousel is achieved by linking a combined Cartesian/curvilinear printing head motion. Three of the free motors direct the printing head movement along standard Cartesian coordinates, while two of the independent motors control the length of each pair of the four u201ctendon cables, which in turn controls the radius of curvature and the angle displacement of the soft printer head along two orthogonal planes.

PyKonal: A Python Package for Solving the Eikonal Equation in Spherical and Cartesian Coordinates Using the Fast Marching Method

This paper introduces PyKonal, a new open-source Python program for computing travel times and tracing ray paths in 2D or 3D heterogeneous media using the fast marching method for solving the eikonal equation in spherical and Cartesian coordinates. Pykonal also offers a Python application program interface with execution speeds comparable to C or Fortran codes, which is compiled with the Cython compiler framework.
