Scheduling offshore cargo handling with operational dynamics including cost composites, downtime periods, and cargo attributes

To satisfy the increasing demand for transporting dry bulk cargoes and overcome inadequate infrastructural resources of ports, an effective cargo logistics service anchored offshore is increasingly vital. A fleet of offshore floating terminals operating the cargo handling service right next to anchorages at sea is being considered by Offshore container handling service providers. To increase the operating efficiency of serving cargo vessels and their barges, we produce a scheduling mathematical model for the fleet of OFTs in this paper. This report outlines a model with many objective functions that could be used by a service provider based on its goals and customer satisfaction policies. To solve the model with finding near-optimal effective solutions, an efficient genetic algorithm is also developed. The proposed genetic algorithm shows a high degree of precision and computational time when evaluating a large number of real data provided by the service provider.

Scheme Design for Cargo Loading Control System of Cargo Plane

Due to the late launch of China's civil aviation, the study on air freighter cargo handling system is less, and there is no study and development infrastructure or technical capability at present, so the study into the same technology of loading control devices is likely. Combined Passenger and Cargo Transport: A Hybrid Simulation and Optimization Approach Focusing on the Transshipment of Cargo Between Tram Vehicles

Container transport in urban areas is a promising possibility for cargo transportation, while passengers travelling the same infrastructure and vehicle. The resulting issue can be modeled as a network traffic issue. With the help of a commercial solver, the deterministic network traffic problem is solved to optimality. This tool is used by a simulator to assign transport units to vehicles and map a route through the network. With the current settings, the deterministic problem is solved as soon as the solution becomes infefeable. The latest technology also serves as an input for the simulation.

The main cargo door movement of the ARJ21-700 converted freighter has been controlled by an integrated airborne Actuator Control Electronics based on Field Programmable Gate Arrays. We have devised an algorithm that solves this problem by using a class of interval graphs. Using an algorithm for coloring the interval graph with a sequential release and uniform loading of colors, a mathematical representation of cargo transportation is developed. With a uniform system load, this software tool helps you to determine the right amount of resources under given initial conditions, with a uniform system load, provided that the interval graph's colors are consistently distributed.
