Circulating S‐Glutathionylated cMyBP‐C as a Biomarker for Cardiac Diastolic Dysfunction

Previously, we reported that elevated myocardial S u2010glutathiony of cMyBPu2010C correlates with diastolic dysfunction in animal models. When compared to non-u2010DD controls, the Circulating SmyBPu2010cMyBPu2010C in human participants with DD was up in comparison to the non-u2010DD controls. Likewise, circulating S. u2010glutathione-infused cMyBP-u2010fold in DD monkeys increased by 2. 13 fold in u2010-fold and 1. 49 fold in DD mice relative to the respective non-u2010DD controls. Circulating S. U. glutathione-rich cMyBP (u2010C) was positively correlated with DD in humans. Conclusions Circulating Succu2010glutathionylated cMyBPu2010C was elevated in humans, monkeys, and mice with DD.
