Introduction: The current research intends to determine the effect of high intensity interval training and intermittent fasting on the expression of the vascular endothelial growth factor gene in obese male rats' heart muscle tissue. Conclusion: According to the study, HIIT with IF and HIIT combined or IF alone had no significant effect on the obese male rats' heart muscle tissue, which was not significant on VEGF expression.

The aim of this study was to investigate the ongoing effects of exercise supplemented by high doses of nandrolone decanoate on cardiac muscle tissue. The investigation found 32 Wistar albino rats divided into four groups: control, steroid, endurance, and exercise plus steroid groups. Subcutaneously, the N+ received nandrolone decanoate once a week. Our results revealed that the combination of nandrolone and training resulted in a 30% thickening of the ventricular wall. Average cardiac muscle cell longitudinal diameter increased by 6% in the T-N+ group and 25% in the T+N+ group, and by 26% in the T+N-group and by 25% in the T+N+ group. The T+N+ group's cross sectional muscle cell count increased by 33%. The nandrolone group's heart collagen content was up by 21% relative to the control group by 261%. Hypertrophic left ventricle hypertrophy and elevated heart collagen deposition were caused by high doses of AAS.
