With curated proprietary Vitic and Leadscope databases, the aim of this study was to determine the Ames' sensitivity in order to predict the carcinogenic outcome. Sensitivity was not significantly different between the use of rat and hamster liver induced S9 in this case. When using DMSO as a solvent, the Ames' sensitivity is increased.
