Bioprospecting of native algal strains with unique lipids, proteins, and carbohydrates signatures: A time dependent study

Aim of this study is revealing possible strains of microalgae from Indore, Madhya Pradesh situated in central India with a diverse climate for lasting production of different bio‐products. In the existing research, seven algal types were separated and identified using Internal Transcribed Spacer and 18 s rRNA series, and these species found to be from the Chlorophyta phylum. The highest biomass performance with chlorophyll content was observed in A. quadricellulare on 21st day. Whereas P. daitoensis was found best for protein manufacturing, on 21st day. Greatest complete fatty acid content was spotted in Pectinodesmus sp. on 21st day, which has revealed great saturated fatty acid and mono unsaturated fat portion, bring on excellent quality biodiesel manufacturing.
