Facile Synthesis of NiO/ZnO nanocomposite as an effective platform for electrochemical determination of carbamazepine.

"The pharmaceutical science industry is looking for cost-effective and selective electrochemical sensors that have ultrasensitive capabilities for the analysis of various drugs. " We describe the most effective route for the manufacture of NiO/ZnO nanocomposite by aqueous chemical growth process in the hopes of creating a useful electrochemical sensor. The NiO/ZnO nanocomposite demonstrated improved electron transfer kinetics and less resistive behaviour than single NiO and ZnO nanoparticles. For the fluent determination of CBz, the various pulse voltammetry and cyclic voltammetry devices were used. The developed sensor gave the best CBZ response under the linear dynamic range of 5 to 100 bcM. The detection limit for the CBZ's NiO/ZnO sensor was determined to be 0. 08 u03bcM. The analytical approach of a ready electrochemical sensor was tested in a number of pharmaceutical formulations with acceptable percent recoveries ranging from 96. 7 to 98 percent.

Carbamazepine Removal by Clay-Based Materials Using Adsorption and Photodegradation
