We provide a new method for constricting the mass transfer development of low mass X-ray binaries - a reverse population synthesis method. The CARB magnetic stopping scheme is the only magnetic stopping prescription qualified of replicating a whole sample of well researched persistent LMXBs-- those with their mass proportions, periods and mass transfer rates that have been observationally figured out. Utilizing the reverse population synthesis method, where we follow any type of substitute system that efficiently reproduces an observed LMXB backwards, we have constricted feasible progenitors for every observed well-studied relentless LMXB. We additionally established that the minimal variety of LMXB formations in the Milky Way is 1500 per Gyr if we omit Cyg X-2. For Cyg X-2, the most likely development rate is 9000 LMXB per Gyr.
