Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder is extremely unusual in the combination of Anorexia Nervosa, Bipolar Disorder, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. We herein discuss a case of a 19-year-old female adolescent with unusual occurrence of BD, OCD, and AN. The patient had several life events in her childhood that contributed to the emergence of OCD, the first disorder. The patient made seven suicide attempts, the last one leading to our psychiatry care center.

Background: Bipolar disorder contributes to elevated morbidity amongstmorbidity among a wide variety of morbidity, with serious implications on the quality of life. In Chile, there is little research on the life experiences of people with this mental disorder in educational interventions. Objective: The purpose of this research was to examine patients with a diagnosis of bipolar disorder who attended a psychoeducational program in a regional hospital. Mental health professionals and their part in educating about the disease and pharmacological therapy were emphasized. Conclusion: The experience of a psychoeducational group in the interviewees is highly relevant for the interviewees and aids them in coping with their illness.
