Non-invasive Tools to Better Diagnose Invasive Aspergillosis Infections in ICU Patients With COVID-19 and Other Non-immunosuppressive Conditions.

"Invasive aspergillosis are difficult to diagnose in the ICU population because the patients do not have the common risks factors of immunocompromised patients. " The present research seeks to implement the BM ASP ICU algorithm for two years in the normal routine use of six ICU units distributed in general and teaching hospitals located northeast of France. Serological assays aiming to determine a sensitization to Aspergillus fumigatus will complete the BM ASP ICU algorithm. The investigators intend to enroll 400 ICU patients at risk of IA; SARS-Cov2 patients will be included in the study. For all patients and within subgroups of patients with particular risk factors, the effectiveness of each fungal biomarkers, alone or in conjunction with others will be determined. The investigators are hoping that this research will result in an improved survival rate of ICU patients with IA.
