Affordable Artificial Intelligence-Assisted Machine Supervision System for the Small and Medium-Sized Manufacturers

The current strategy aims to reduce the cost and complexity of smart manufacturing deployment for SMMs through the integration of consumer-grade electronics and a new AI development approach. The proposed machine control unit, which was AI-assisted Machine Supervision, provides SMMs with two main subsystems: direct machine monitoring and human-machine interaction monitoring. Through the inexpensive AI accelerator solution of the vision processing unit, the AIMS system was tested and verified with a case study in 3D printing.

Artificial intelligence in the prediction of protein–ligand interactions: recent advances and future directions

Abstract A new drug development, from target identification to marketing authorization, can take over 12 years and cost about $2. 6 billion. In addition, the COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the urgent need for more sophisticated computational tools for drug discovery. Next, we examine databases that are commonly used in the field of proteinu2013ligand interactions. Finally, we survey and analyze machine learning methods used to predict protein binding sites, ligand-binding affinity, and binding pose, using both traditional ML algorithms and new deep learning techniques.
