Interest of Nasal Provocation Tests for Diagnosis of House Mites Allergic Rhinitis

Allergic rhinitis as a result of house dust mites is a common disorder that affects patients' quality of life and may be responsible for asthma-related problems. The positive predictive value of TCs and IgEs is estimated at 77% for D. pteronyssinus and 69% for D. farinae, according to a new retrospective analysis. Approximately 30% of patients who have TCs and/or IgEs directed against mites have biological sensitization, but not necessarily have biological sensitization. The nasal challenge test has been shown to be a simple way to aid the diagnosis of dust mite allergic rhinitis in children. The hypothesis is that RNTP has a superior predictive value to TC and IgEs in the diagnosis of allergic rhinitis to dust mites, and therefore the ITA's effectiveness is high.

Patient Satisfaction and Sensory Attributes of Nasal Spray Treatments for Allergic Rhinitis

The aim of the survey is to determine patients' satisfaction and importance of treatment characteristics for Allergic Rhinitis nasal sprays from two manufacturers. To directly assess patient satisfaction with two distinct Allergic Rhinitis nasal sprays, an observational, cross-sectional research design with two independent samples was chosen.

Effect of Acupuncture at the Sphenopalatine Ganglion in the Treatment of Moderate-to-severe Seasonal Allergic Rhinitis

With almost 20% receiving acupuncture, nearly 20% of AR patients use complementary and alternative medicine for their pains. The use of acupuncture for the treatment of AR was not encouraged in a lack of well-controlled studies, according to the updated practice parameter of rhinitis in 2020. Multiple studies have shown that SPG stimulation can aid in chronic cluster headache and acute ischaemic stroke. The sphenopalatine ganglion, which is embedded under a thin layer of mucosa in the pterygopalatine fossa, contains sensory fibers that innervate the nasopharynx, nasal cavity, and palate. acupuncture at SPG can help patients improve nasal symptoms and quality of life by increasing sympathetic nerve excitability, relative to traditional meridian theory. We hypothesize that acupuncture plus RM and RM alone in SAR therapy is more effective than sham acupuncture plus RM and RM alone.

Investigation of Molecular Biomarkers Associated With Occurrence of Seasonal Allergic Rhinitis (AR) In and Out of Active Allergy Season

Participants with seasonal allergic rhinitis who completed the first study visit outside of the participant's normal allergy season will return for the second study visit during allergy season, and vice versa for participants presenting for the first study visit during allergy season. A least one month from the first study visit, a child with a history of symptomatic allergic rhinitis caused by tree pollen would attend one study visit during tree pollen season and a second study visit outside of allergy season, but asymptomatic. During the months of September-November, participants who suffer from grass pollen allergies will attend the "in-season" study tour, as will participants suffering from weed pollen allergies. Measurements from allergy test results obtained from allergic rhinitics samples during and outside of allergy season will also be compared to non-allergic sample results.

Efficacy of ADW S-100 Ionized Water Nasal Spray in Decreasing Symptoms of Allergic Rhinitis: Randomized, Double-blind, Placebo-controlled Trial

Certainly, a water-based nasal spray ionized Advanced Water S-100 would change the electrostatic environment of all the interactions that resulted in this bridging. Positive ions present in water ionized Advanced Water S-100 competes with negative ions from acids negatively charged amino acids and neutralize basic amino acids positively charged. The aim of this research is to determine if the use of ionized water nasal spray ADW S-100 helps to sufficiently reduce the severity of allergic rhinitis symptoms and therefore improve people with allergies' quality of life.

Assessment of Impact of Different Carrier Solutions for House Dust Mite Allergen (HDM) Challenge on Allergic Reactions in Patients With HDM Allergic Rhinitis

Allergen Challenge Chambers have been used around the world for many years to try anti-allergic drugs in early clinical development. A carrier solution containing lactose or sodium chloride is reconstituted with commercially available HDM allergen, which is ideal for indoor dust mite challenges. Although lactose or sodium chloride particles alone could cause nasal irritation amid allergen challenges, allergy testing has not been determined. Even more so, if one carrier option causing more nasal irritation than the other. To determine if allergen-free carrier solutions solely irritate the nasal mucosa, we expose subjects with allergic rhinitis and house dust mite allergy to three different atmospheres: lactose particles alone, sodium chloride particles alone, and clean air. In addition, we intend to demonstrate nasal symptoms during HDM-containing carrier solutions' challenges to determine the best carrier option for future clinical trials.

Grass Pollen Sublingual Tablet Immunotherapy Plus Dupilumab for Induction of Tolerance in Adults With Moderate to Severe Seasonal Allergic Rhinitis (ITN084AD)

In this study, Grass allergen sublingual immunotherapy therapy product registered for clinical use in the United Kingdom and will be used as SLIT in this analysis. Dupilumab is the brand name for the brand's dupilumab and is a monoclonal antibody against the interleukin 4 receptor.

Determination of Threshold Concentrations for Ragweed and Birch Pollen in Sensitized Patients With Seasonal Allergic Rhinitis in an Allergen Challenge Chamber and in Vitro

Ambrosia artemisifolia, an anemophilous plant of the Asteraceae family that may have originated in desert areas of the United States. Although the plant prefers dry, sandy soils, environmental change can be a significant contributor to its spread in northern and central Europe, although the plant prefers dry, sandy soils. The pollen is considered highly allergenic, so it is likely that lower pollen concentrations are sufficient to cause allergy symptoms in comparison to native grass or birch pollen. Basically, threshold concentrations could be determined by target organ specific allergen challenge, field research, and allergen chamber challenge, each of which has its own benefits and drawbacks. Allergen challenge chambers have been used mainly for proof-of-concept experiments using antiallergic agents to date. Eventually, a concentration range for ragweed and birch pollen can be established that causes allergic signs with clinical and quantitative significance.

Comparative Real World Effectiveness of SQ Sublingual Immunotherapy (SLIT)-Tablets vs. Controls in Allergic Rhinitis and Asthma - Outcomes From a Multinational Register Study

Patients with AR are high and between ten percent and forty percent, according to statistics. In patients with pre-existing asthma, allergy immunotherapy was linked to long-term decline in AR medication use, as well as dramatic declines in both controller and reliever asthma, as well as significant reductions in both controller and reliever asthma products, as well as the concurrent decrease in asthma exacerbation and pneumonia in people with pre-existing asthma. As the REACT study was not intended to look at evidence-based AIT treatments such as the SQ SLIT-tablets, the SQ SLIT-tablets' real-world effectiveness of SQ SLIT tablets has yet to be discussed.
