AST·MLR index and operation injury condition are novel prognostic predictor for the prediction of survival in patients with colorectal cancer liver metastases undergoing surgical resection

Background The preoperative aspartate aminotransferase, monocyte-to-lymphocyte ratio, AST-u00b7MLR index, and surgical injury treatment in patients with colorectal cancer liver metastases remains unclear. This retrospective review investigated the connection between these indicators, progression-free survival, and overall survival in CRLM patients undergoing resection. According to operation time and blood loss, an operation injury diagnosis was established. Unfavourable PFS were predicted by a multivariable analysis, AMLRI > 3. 33 and severe surgical injury syndrome were predictive of poor OS, and AMLRI > 3. 33 was predicted for unstable OS, with unfavourable OS. According to the C-indexes and time-ROCs, the nomograms were superior to Fongu2019s Clinical Risk Score.
