Design and Development of Modular Arm Cast Using Additive Manufacturing

The plaster cast and fiberglass cast are the preferred arm joint misplacement treatment approach for immobilization. In this work, the orthopedics arm cast model is designed and fabricated by utilizing additive manufacturing with ABS material. The core idea of the design is the arm joint assistance and modular rings with a details size added to achieve a details support length. After properly positioning the patient's arm the pressure on the arm can be adjustsed by the little clamps with velcro straps.
